A Message from the Principal
Dear MEC Families:
I hope the recent Thanksgiving break provided more time for you to enjoy your children and share new experiences and learning with them. The Parent-Teacher conferences, prior to break, provided an opening for you to talk with your child’s teacher about how your child is achieving at school. I trust that you will continue communicating with your child's teacher , thus building a strong partnership between home and school.
From our faculty and staff, we would like to thank all the families and students who generously donated canned goods and warm clothing to the less fortunate during this special time of year.
Looking ahead, MEC is going to be a busy place. Numerous feasts, celebrations, and a music showcase have been planned by many of our teachers. Our students thrive at this time of year. From academics to classroom celebrations, our students have endless energy and enthusiasm. During this hectic time of year, it is essential that our
students “recharge” their inner-batteries. With lots of rest and sleep, good nutrition, and adults who love them, our children will continue to stay focused and motivated both in and out of school.
Please accept the best wishes of the staff and myself for a peaceful and joyous holiday season filled with the love that children bring to your home and our school.
Mr. Jeff Hatala, Principal
