A Message from the Principal
Dear MEC Families:
Spring is definitely in the air at Moscow Elementary Center. It is nice when the weather warms up and students can be outdoors and have fun playing, socializing, and being physically active. Please continue to watch the weather forecast and help your child dress accordingly for time outdoors.
April is upon us and the year is moving quickly. MoscowElementary Center has many special activities planned during the month of April. The month starts with “Light It Up Blue” on Tuesday, April 2nd. The children and staff will be wearing the color blue to support and recognize Autism Awareness and support the children with autism who attend our school.
Later in the month, I will be conducting our third quarter Principal’s Award’s Assembly where students will be recognized for various forms of achievement. The weeks that follow are just as busy. It is advised that you continue to check the school calendar to stay current with upcoming school and classroom events.
PSSA Testing will be administrated to all grade 3 from April 8th to the 15th.
In closing, please remember that a strong partnership between home and school is critical in helping our students achieve their full potential. As always, thank you parents for your cooperation and continuous support at Moscow Elementary Center.
Regards,
Mr. Jeff Hatala,
Principal
