After nearly 18 months of researching, planning, and development, the North Pocono School District has launched its new website.  The website offers a host of new features and capabilities that will make delivering information, in multiple media formats, faster and easier than before.  We hope that you will find it more informative and easier to use.

The site was developed in-house using free, open-source software. It includes a search feature (available from every page) in the upper right-hand corner:  simply type a keyword or two in the box provided and press "Enter" on your keyboard to get results.  A text-size tool is also available in the upper right-hand corner:  click the larger "A" repeatedly to get larger text, the smaller "A" repeatedly to get smaller text, and the square to reset the text to its normal size.  It can even remember the size you last used!

The site also includes an interactive calendar so you can quickly check for upcoming events.  You can limit the events to one particular building if you wish.  In addition the new site includes contact lists for virtually every area...making it easy for you to reach school personnel in a way that is convenient for you.  Another feature new to the website are QuickLinks - pull down menus in the upper right-hand corner, categorized by users, and populated with links to content most useful to those users.

There are many more features to discover and some yet to be deployed.  You will notice some ongoing construction in various parts of the site.  It was a monstrous task to move content from the old website to the new website; please be patient as we continue to add brand new content.  If there is something in particular you would like to see added, don't hesitate to make a request at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .
