NPMS Summer Reading Program

Summer Reading

To avoid the "summer slide", students are encouraged to continue reading from the Accelerated Reader list over the summer. Studies show that students who read four or more age appropriate books over the summer do better on reading tests in the fall than those who read only one or no books over the summer. Asking questions about what your child is reading can help with comprehension.

The book lists below are some suggested titles for each grade level.
