Mr. Bryan McGraw began serving as the District’s Superintendent July 12, 2010.
Mr. McGraw has served in a variety of roles in area school districts, most recently as Director of Secondary Education in the Delaware Valley School District. Prior to that assignment, he was Principal of Scranton High School, Assistant Principal of Scranton High School, Acting Principal at William Prescott Elementary School, and Assistant Principal at South Scranton Intermediate School. Mr. McGraw also spent time as a teacher for the Pocono Mountain School District and Scranton School District.
Mr. McGraw holds a B.A. from King’s College and a Master’s degree from the University of Scranton. He also received his Superintendent’s Letter of Eligibility from the University of Scranton.
“I look forward to working with the NPSD Board of Directors and the North Pocono community to meet the challenges the future will bring,” states Mr. McGraw. “I am very excited about joining this great community in working for high academic achievement for all of our students. The quality of teachers and administration, the engagement of families in the education of their children, and the commitment of the community to public education are all parts that will set the foundation to making North Pocono a leader among other public school districts.”
The goal is to prepare our students for challenges they will encounter over their lifetime. We welcome any parental and community feedback that will improve our district.
