Policy is set for our school district by a nine member Board of Education, assisted by a non-voting secretary and solicitor. Members, who are elected for a four year term, normally meet in public sessions once a month. This session is a regular meeting, normally held on the second Wednesday of each month in the high school auditorium. Work sessions will be held as needed. The public is warmly invited to attend these meetings. The school board is dedicated to serving the school and community by working as a strong team focused on decisions that promote the achievement of district goals. Board members also are committed to a Code of Ethics that was adopted in 2006.
Three board members are elected from each of three regions in the district. Region 1 encompasses Elmhurst, Roaring Brook, and Jefferson Townships. Region 2 is comprised of Lehigh Township of Lackawanna County (Thornhurst), Moscow Borough, and Spring Brook Township. Region 3 includes Lehigh Township of Wayne County, Clifton Township, Covington Township, and Madison Township. Current board members are:
