The North Pocono Middle School held its last “Spirit Card” drawing for the 2011-2012 school year on June 6th. As an extension of our Middle School’s anti-bullying campaign, Spirit Cards are issued to students by school staff members for demonstrating positive behavior that goes “above and beyond” everyday expectations.

This month’s prizes included gift certificates from Kay’s Restaurant, Mendicino’s Restaurant, Dunkin’ Donuts, Backcourt Hoops, Cinemark, Great Escape Theaters, and two iPod Shuffles!

A thank you also goes out to all students that were recognized this year with Spirit Cards and teachers that participated in the program this year, as well as Mr. Bugno and Mrs. Davis, our Middle School administrators. Lastly, special thanks also goes out to Student Council and local businesses for supporting the program!
