Student Registration

CHIP covers uninsured children and teens up to age 19.  CHIP provides quality, comprehensive health insurance for routine doctor’s visits, prescriptions, dental, eye care, eyeglasses, mental health, and much more. CHIP covers uninsured kids who are not eligible for Medical Assistance. For many families, CHIP is free – for others, it is low cost.

Closings/Delays

The district uses an alert system to send messages to parents via phone, text message, and email.  In the application, you will be able to specify phone numbers to receive voice calls, phone numbers to receive text messages, and an email address to receive messages.

Note:  Even if you provide numbers to receive text messages, those messages cannot be sent until you "OPT IN" from each phone.  To do so, text the letter "Y" to 67587 from each phone you want to receive text messages.

National Lunch Program

Applications for the National School Lunch Program begin on July 1st of the upcoming school year, regardless of income.  The more students who apply, the more federal resources will be made available to student programs.  

Important Things to Note

Once you submit your online application, you will receive an email to the email address you registered with stating that it was submitted.  Therefore, be especially careful when typing both your email address and phone number.

Once your application has been approved from enrollment, you  will receive a second email.  If there are any questions concerning your application, you will get an email stating what additional information is needed to complete the application.    

Once enrollment has been approved our office and nursing staff may contact you if other information is needed.

The registration process is not complete and a student is not enrolled until all required documents have been received and processed by the Central Registration Office. 

To ensure your child will be enrolled and able to start school on the first day, please have their registration completed with all documentation into the school by August 1st. Any registrations that do not have all required documentation in or are submitted after August 1st, cannot be guaranteed to begin on the first day of school.

 Registrants must provide three proofs of residency. 

Proof of Residency #1 :

• mortgage statement, lease, property tax bill or deed.

Proofs of Residency #2 & 3: Any combination of the following:

•  Copy of driver's license (correct address)
• Copy of motor vehicle registration
• Copies of at least two (2) utility bills dated within thirty (30) days, including, but not limited to gas, water, electric, sewer, telephone, and/or cable*

• Court orders

• Insurance card/declaration for: car/homeowners/renters insurance

• Pay Stub

• Post Office official change of address form
• Voter Registration Card

*Please remember if you are using utility bills, we require 1 statement from 2 different companies to count as 1 proof.
